This website is dedicated to the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between Armenia and European Union in 2017. Here you can find all the info about the CEPA, it's content, related news, follow its implementation process and many more. The website was established by the financial support from EU, but is ran by EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform independently.
EU - Armenia CEPA is one of the most ultimate documents in the history of the Armenia-Europe relationship and is one of the tools of European enlargement. It entered into force on March 1, 2021. According to CEPA, Armenia will undergo comprehensive reforms in justuce, employment, climate, taxation, migration, safety standards and many more. Additionally, it will foster the cooperation between Europe and Armenia in mentioned sectors
We are the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform. The platform is mandated by the CEPA's Article 366. We are a tripartite body consisting of elected representatives of NGOs, business and workers representatives (trade unions) from both Armenia and EU. Our mission is to monitor the implementation of CEPA, strengthen civil society dialogue between and Armenia and Europe, provide consultancy to decision makers. We have established this website to promote the CEPA process and our work.
As a consultative body we produce reports, advisory opinions and research related to the implementation and progress of CEPA. We closely monitor the draft bills and policy -making regarding European integration. We meet twice a year in Yerevan and Brussels, issue statements and work with government bodies in both Armenia and EU to raise the voice of civil society, workers and business in the decision-making of CEPA implementation.
