The Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is a partnership agreement between the European Union and Armenia. It is one of the so-called "harmonization and stabilization" agreements that the European Union offers as a cooperation and enlargement tool for the EU neighborhood states. With the agreement, the bilateral relations between the European Union and Armenia are moved to a new and deeper partnership level, particularly in the political and economic sector, while expanding trade relations at the same time. The agreement strengthens bilateral activities in various areas, creating a basis for Armenia's long-term association with the European Union. The agreement is also intended to gradually bring Armenian laws and legal acts closer to EU legislation.
